Stacy Ballinger

Director, Center for Calling & Career, Lee University

As Director of the Center for Calling & Career at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, Stacy Ballinger serves as the point person for employer relations, career/graduate school fairs, and general career counseling. Stacy joined the faculty of Lee University in 2007, at which time she completed Gallup's Strengths Advocate certification training. Since that time, her focus has been on increasing the developmental impact of the strengths philosophy and of strengths-based programs on campus. Stacy has worked to increase the use of strengths in large groups and team leadership, such as athletic team, clubs, and departments. She often works with career centers around the country.

Before assuming her current role at Lee University, Stacy worked at two academic institutions in student development and academic affairs.

Stacy received her master's degree in education with a focus on training and leadership from Western Governors University and her bachelor's degree in general studies with an emphasis in communication from East Tennessee State University. Stacy is an active member of the Tennessee Association of Colleges and Employers and is the chair of the Emerging Leaders Committee of the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers. Her top five talent themes, as identified by the Clifton StrengthsFinder, are Communication, Activator, Woo, Relator, and Strategic.
